Legal Service Agreement

Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: July 9, 2026. These terms govern the request and execution of all services provided by Independent Investigation Services.

1. Engagement of Services

By accessing our website or retaining Independent Investigation Services (“the Agency”) to perform services, you accept these Terms & Conditions. The client agrees that the scope of instructions must be defined in writing before field operations commence.

2. Fees and Billing

Fees are calculated according to our hourly rates, fixed-fee specialities, or customized package budgets outlined in the Case Strategy plan.

  • Retainer: A pre-arranged deposit or retainer fee may be requested before case details are processed.
  • Expenses: Travel expenses, database access charges, and statutory registry fees are billed at cost.
  • Payment: Invoices are payable upon receipt or in accordance with agreed corporate terms. We reserve the right to withhold deliverables if accounts are past due.

3. Ethical and Lawful Boundaries

The Agency operates strictly within local legal and regulatory boundaries.

We DO NOT perform illegal intercept monitoring (wiretapping), unauthorized device tracking (malware/hacking), or trespass on private property. Any instruction requiring illegal activity will be declined immediately.

4. Client Assurances

The client warrants that the case information provided is accurate and that the request is made under a legitimate, lawful interest (e.g. litigation support, fraud verification, screening credentials).

The client agrees not to use any reports, logs, or evidence gathered for harassment, stalking, or any action violating statutory court orders or protective warnings.

5. Case Deliverables

Upon completion, findings are detailed in a written report package. While we apply standard professional care and due diligence to verify facts, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or recovery of assets. Factual reports reflect findings at the time of investigation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Agency will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or interpretation of evidence supplied in report packages.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this agreement.
